I would really like to try my hand at growing orchids, but I don’t have a greenhouse. Are there any orchids that will do well indoors on a windowsill?
A: I can think of no better orchid for you to try than the phalaenopsis.

A: There are several species of plants commonly referred to as Dutchman’s Pipe, so you need to choose carefully.
Master Gardener: Spanish moss needs moisture -
I’m decorating my bathroom in a tropical style. I’ve got lots of foliage plants, orchids, and I just acquired a piece of Spanish moss, too. It looks a little dried out and there are no roots.

Each summer we enjoy the fruit from our home orchard, but when winter comes we have nothing. We’re considering planting a persimmon tree to give us fresh fruit in winter.
